What a pain in the ?leg?

I have been having pain in my right leg for over a week now. I went in and had it checked out, and had to do some tests. An ultra-sound to check for blood clots, and an x-ray to check for bone cancer, (yikes). Well, both tests came back normal. I have been put on some pain meds, which make me rather loopy. I will deal with loopy, if I don't have to have pain. Well, I just realised, much to my dismay, I only have 4 pills left. I take 2 every 6 hours. And believe me, I am watching the clock, needing more by about the 4th or 5th hour. So, it's the weekend. Darn it. I called to see if the Dr. on call can fill it. NOPE. There is some rule about that, and if I need more pain meds, I have to go to the ER, or Clinic to get checked out AGAIN, and get them. Well, that is stupid. I was told to stay on them for 2 weeks, and see what happens. Wouldn't you think they'd give me 2 weeks worth. I am so not looking forward a Sunday in pain, instead of rest.

My super cool find

I was walking around ShopCo, and ran into this awesome Triple Slow cooker, buffet and serve. I have always wanted one. I know they are expensive, and so I thought I would never own one. Well, it was regularly priced at $150.00 smackeroo's, but was on clearance for $59.00. That's almost $100 off. I thought about my husbands reaction, and hoped he would not be upset at me for splurging on this, but I had to have it. Turns out, he thinks it is pretty awesome too. Anything to do with cooking food, he is usually in. Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy crap

Floods of memories.........
I was walking around in Target the other day. Can I say, that I love that place. Wish Wal-Mart by us was Target. I would be in a heap of trouble. But anyway, I walked by the toy aisle, and there it was. Please tel me anyone who was a kid in the 80's remembers the Monchhichi. I had one as a kid. I remember loving him. I had to spend the $8.99 to have him all for myself. Now, share your stories of childhood toy memories.

Pinewood Derby

Derek very much enjoyed watching his car race down the track. I did not know how it all worked. I was glad they had the cars race a lot. I thought they raced just once, then they were done. Derek Won 2nd place for our ward. Yea Derek, (dad)!!!!

Jam, I'm good!

I shocked the heck out of myself for doing this on my own. I usually have the help from friends, cause I am NOT a very good homeaker. Well, ta-da, I did it all by myself. And I don't even like jam. This one is for you my dear family. Enjoy.
Has anyone ever hear of the magic eraser?
Well, I was not sure if it was going to work. But it totally did.
Before

After
I was so putting off having to scrub this stove top. But it was so easy using the magic eraser, compared to a regular scrubber.
